    Description: Various beetles from the FBM. Top left) A ground beetle of the family Carabidae, with a body length of 9 millimeters. Specimen is BMNH In. 64613 from FBM Locality G. Top middle) A weevil, or snout-beetle of the family Curculionidae, with a wing span of 12 millimeters. Specimen is FMNHPE 60944 from FBM Locality A. Top right) Another weevil from Locality A. Specimen is FMNH PE60945, and measures 12 millimeters long. Middle left) A reticulated beetle of the family Cupedidae measuring 17 millimeters in length, with the color pattern preserved on the elytra. Specimen is FOBU 13518, from FBM Locality B. Middle middle) An unidentified beetle (Buprestidae?) from FBM Locality A with a body length of 15 millimeters (FMNH PE60947). Middle right) A small species of buprestid beetle from FBM Locality L with a body length of 10 millimeters (FOBU 13458). Bottom left) Aquatic beetle (Family Gyrinidae) with a body length of 15 millimeters. Specimen is 24 millimeters long from the 18-inch layer of FBM Locality A (specimen number FMNH PE51411). Bottom middle) A tiny beetle measuring only 3 millimeters in length of a yet undetermined family. Specimen is FMNH PE60094 from the 18-inch layer of FBM Locality B.
